DORSET'S No.1 Jurassic Cruise Coming back in 2019

Sail through 185 million years of history as you pass the Jurassic Coast, a World Heritage Site.

Your 2 hour and 15 minute trip will begin in Swanage, once a small fishing port and now a popular seaside resort of Victorian vintage.

Leaving its charming pier behind, your boat ventures onto the open sea and rounds Old Harry’s Rock, created by the erosion of chalk and named after Poole’s most notorious 14th century pirate.

You will see spectacular rock formations on one side and the blue expanse of the English Channel on the other while you voyage to Poole and back.

Your ticket includes:

  • 2 hour 15 minutes round cruise along Swanage Bay & Poole Harbour

Note

Returning on April 1st 2019.

Having been to so many short cruises, this one stood out for the beautiful coastline and information shared by the captain. A very nice cruise from Swanage with stopover in Poole - the cruise let's you enjoy the short break there before boarding the return cruise after couple of hours.

No, because it was postponed twice because of predictable Swanage jetty repairs.

We had a perfect day for a boat trip and found it an excellent way to show guests part of the Purbeck coast - thank you.

We used to take a trip on the paddle steamers from Swanage to Bournemouth every year during our annual holiday in the 50s, so it was good to repeat the experience decades later with younger generations. We were lucky with cloudless blue skies and hot sunshine for our cruise and the boat was very steady so no risk of sea sickness! Good offering of snacks and drinks. Hope they get the Swanage Pier fully restored soon as it’s an eyesore.
